Civil Engineering and Architecture

In CEA, students study the design and development of residential and commercial properties and structures by focusing on a variety of civil engineering and architectural topics. Major projects include using Autodesk Revit and other industry standard software to design, document and communicate solutions to peers and professionals. Students usually take this specialty course as a junior or senior. IED and POE are prerequisites.

Topics of study include universal design, building techniques, drainage, international code, surveying, etc...

This course is designed for 10th, 11th or 12th grade students who have completed or will be simultaneously enrolled in POE or IED.
