Digital Electronics

Due to a shortage of math teachers, DE has been cut for the 2013-2014 school year. We hope to see it back for the 2014-2015 school year.

Digital Electronics, a specialty course in the PLTW curriculum series, introduces students to the world of electronics through combinational and sequential logic design. Students will learn engineering standards and technical documentation. Students will utilize simulation software, breadboards and FPGA.

Students will also have opportunity to design, construct, and program our collection of "Boe-Bots." Other projects include random number generators, wireless speaker units, and more.

This course may be taken at any point after IED and POE.
